Our Mission

The Victoria Street Chaplaincy Society (VSCS) aims to uplift Victoria’s unhoused and substance-affected populations through direct street outreach, holistic services, and emotionally sensitive care. Grounded in the values of respect for all backgrounds and inclusive spirituality, we ensure that every individual is treated with the dignity they deserve.

There are an estimated 1,500+ people experiencing homelessness in Victoria.


Mental Health & Trauma

60% of this population identifies as living with mental health challenges, and 70% report substance dependence or trauma-related symptoms.


Service Gaps

We fill critical gaps where existing shelters may have conditional access or lack holistic, relational support.
